about me

Wannabe Music Critic, Virtual Farmer, Unapologetically Annoying About My Rescue Animals

Growing up, I was your typical gifted child. School came easily to me, my teachers loved me, and my parents barely had to discipline me. That might sound like a not-so-humble brag, but at the time I felt like I was carrying the weight of the world on my shoulders. The pressure I put on myself to succeed completely consumed my early adulthood.

My family didn't have much, so when it came time to decide what I wanted to study in college, I never really asked myself what I wanted to do with the rest of my life. My only question was: What career will give me the highest salary so I can give my family a better life?

So I studied law, I tried nursing school, I tended bar to make ends meet, and throughout it all, I kept art as a hobby, squeezing it into whatever minimal free time I had to keep myself grounded. After nearly a decade of running in circles, I finally stumbled across something called graphic design. So I enrolled at County College of Morris to see what it was all about, and I never looked back.

Turns out, art could be more than just a hobby.

P.S. When I'm not designing, you can find me cosplaying as a music critic on YouTube, tending crops in the magical world of Stardew Valley, or taking my rescue pups, Maxx and Mae, for a walk.
